During these three hectic days, it was awesome to meet so many of you and finally get a chance to talk with you face to face. We loved helping with queries and hearing everyone's exciting plans for the future.

Freeparking's Guide to Getting Online
1. Register a Website Address
A domain name is your address on the internet, similar to your home address. A domain name is the address people put into the address bar in their browser to visit your website. Your domain name is your online identity and the point of contact you will use to promote your site and attract visitors.
Uses for a domain name include:
- displaying your website when used in conjunction with web hosting.
- creating professional-looking email,
- protecting intellectual property,
Freeparking offers you the convenience of being able to purchase New Zealand, Australian and more than 25 other global domain name extensions, allowing your business the opportunity to be truly global.
(pricing varies for certain domain name extensions, please see http://www.freeparking.co.nz/domains/index.mv for details)
2. Email Forwarding
With Email Forwarding, you will have a professional email address e.g. joe@joebloggs.co.nz which forwards all emails sent to this address to your existing gmail or hotmail email account. Now you can have the professionalism of a personalised email address, without the hassle of managing multiple inboxes!
(NB: Emails may be forwarded to any nominated email account - not necessarily just gmail or hotmail).
3. Add Web Hosting (Single Page Website)
Web hosting is the space used to display your website on the World Wide Web. The Freeparking Website Toolkit offers a Single Page Website suitable for people new to the online medium and just starting out. A Single Page Website can be used to display basic information such as details about your organisation, products/services, benefits and contact details. The Freeparking Website Toolkit allows you to choose from 100's of templates and colours with the ability to display up to 2 images and update your information at any time and from any location.

Tips from Tim:
1. Customising SiteBuilder templates.
We are often asked whether it is possible to customise the templates that are on offer with SiteBuilder. In this case, there are a couple of options available to you. If you have knowledge of html, you will be able to make adjustments and customise the templates yourself. However, if you have no experience with html, additional templates may be sourced. Please note that as these templates are from a third party, we may only be able to provide limited support. Visit the following links to check out more templates: http://addons.soholaunch.com/templates/, http://templatezapper.com/.
If you are looking to design a template from scratch, check out the 'Template Builder' under the 'Template Manager' section on the SiteBuilder demo at: http://builderdemo.freeparking.co.nz
Once again, you do not need any html knowledge to create your own template.
2. How many products can I sell with my SiteBuilder Shopping Cart?
SiteBuilder Plus comes with an integrated shopping cart for those that need to sell their products online straight away. This function is perfect for beginning with and is designed to sell a maximum of 100 products. SiteBuilder's shopping cart is also perfect for businesses that change their product lines often, as the shopping cart may be updated whenever and wherever you like.
Check out SiteBuilder's Shopping Cart here:

3. Can I place my company's logo in the template header?
While there are a few SiteBuilder templates which do not allow logos to be placed in the template header, there are a number that do. If you would like a list of templates that allow this functionality, our support team will be happy to help. Contact us on: support@freeparking.co.nz
