Product Showcase: Email
For a more professional look for your business or organisation, you can use your domain name in combination with personalised email addresses. For example, your domain name might be joebloggs.co.nz and your email joe@joebloggs.co.nz. It’s a quick and easy way to advertise your business (info@joebloggs.co.nz) instead of someone else’s (joebloggs@xtra.co.nz).

CASE STUDY - PURE LOCAL AND NZRIDE.COM
Ever felt that you needed more from life? For Aaron Fernandez of Pure Local and NZRide.com, ditching his shirt and tie job meant more time with the family, creative freedom and good old jeans and t-shirts.
Aaron began his clothing venture by importing Animal, a top UK surf/lifestyle range, which has since proved to be successful not just on its own, but in augmenting his popular site www.NZRide.com. A firm believer in Kiwi workmanship, Aarons’ next step was to purchase the brand Pure Local. With his magic touch, the company flourished and now offers not just men’s and women’s lines, but a new range for kids, ‘PureLittle’.
“Being a strong supporter of Kiwi Made and NZ businesses, we found Freeparking could not only understand our unique needs, but had all the resources we required to help our business grow online” says Aaron. “Our website www.purelocal.co.nz is a great way to show our current seasons’ range as well as list where people can go to check it out.”
Not content with one site, Fernandez has branched out into the mountain bike market, creating an online magazine for avid fans. His aim to promote the sport with stories, pictures and events proved popular, with news, interviews and the Animal clothing line making the site the ultimate place to go.
“We knew from previous experience that Freeparking could support all our hosting requirements for our new website venture” explains Aaron. “The NZRide site has become so popular (10,000 unique visitors some months and growing!) It has become its own brand. As well as the stories and info, there is also an online store which we will be developing further where we sell Animal product as well as NZRide.com products.”
NZRide and Pure Local have been kind enough to provide us with two prizes: a T-shirt from Animal (valued at $65) and a top from Pure Local (valued at $70). To go in the draw to win, simply sign up to either the NZRide or the Pure Local newsletter. Visit: http://www.nzride.com/signup.php http://www.purelocal.co.nz/new_contact.php Entries close the 25th of March 2008.
