You can transfer any .nz Domain Name at the special rate of $29.95 and get a years registration added to the remaining term of your Domain Name. E.g. if your Domain Name has 6 months registration remaining, transfer to FreeParking for $29.95 and your remaining term will be 1 year and 6 months.

At the next anniversary date of the Domain Name FreeParking will email a renewal invoice with payment link for our low annual fee of $39.95 +GST/ year. Note: there are no other fees, our $39.95 + GST is all you will pay to register your Domain Name for 1 year. You can also renew for several years at our multi-year discount rates.

Requirements

• You must supply the UDAI (Unique Domain Name ID) when you transfer. This can be obtained from your existing Registrar.
• The domain must have been registered for at least 5 days.

gTLD Transfers (.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info)

Requirements

• Your domain name must not have any outstanding fees with your existing Registrar.
• gTLD's can not be transferred within first 60 days of initial registration.
• As most registrars lock domains as protection against unsolicited transfers, you will probably have to contact your existing registrar to have the domain unlocked. You should do this first.
• .org, .biz and .info domains use an authentication key (EPP Key) rather than emails to authorise the transfer. You can get your key from your current registrar, who may refer to it as a domain password or something similar.
• An email will be sent to the administration contact for the Domain Name seeking approval to progress the transfer request. You must respond to this email as per instructions for the transfer to proceed. Note, its therefore important to make sure the administration email address listed for your Domain Name is correct prior to making the transfer request.
