.com Transfers are now automated.

We've upgraded our system for transferring gTLD domains (.com, .net, .org, .biz and .info) to Freeparking from a manual procedure to an online one.

Unlike .nz transfers which are instantaneous, they still take 3-5 days to complete, but this is an improvement on the 2-3 weeks by the old process. We offer a refund guarantee in the event that a transfer cannot be completed.

We've also upgraded our .nz transfers procedure, with better reporting of reasons a domain cannot be transferred.

We've made Domain Name searching smarter!

Our developers have re-jigged the code behind our domain searches to automatically correct a lot of common typos and errors. For example:

• Commas are automatically corrected to dots.
• If you include a space we try with both the space removed and replaced by a hyphen
• & is expanded to 'and' — with and without hyphens.
• If your multi-domain search exceeds 30 domains, we store the overflow for a second search.
• More helpful error messages for valid extensions which we do not sell.
• Better treatment of subdomains.
